A specialist insurance brokerage needing a unified brand and communication system.
MCD required a stronger, more consistent brand and communication system that could support a wide range of insurance products, broker communications, compliance requirements, partner presentations and client-facing material. The work focused on bringing clarity, consistency and structure to a large collection of brand touchpoints — more than 90 distinct outputs and asset groups.
Specialist insurance, complex communication.
MCD operates in a specialist insurance environment where information must be accurate, professional and easy to follow. Their communication needed to speak to different audiences — healthcare professionals, institutions, schemes, referral partners, and internal teams — across a complex product range covering medical malpractice, professional indemnity, cyber cover, institutional cover and scheme cover. Before the redesign, the required communication tools existed across different formats and visual styles, creating a need for a more unified brand system.
Design the system, not the artefacts.
The challenge was creating a consistent identity across a vast range of materials without making the brand feel repetitive or rigid. Mediakim approached MCD as a system, not a series of designs — every document, presentation, email and campaign asset needed to feel connected but still suitable for its specific purpose. The strategy was to standardise visual grammar while leaving room for context-specific tone, so each audience receives material that feels right for them while still feeling MCD.
19 presentations and a high-value profile system.
A complete presentation suite was redesigned and standardised across 19 major decks and proposition documents — covering medical malpractice, professional indemnity, cyber cover, institutional cover, scheme cover, state cover, claims, referral partners, regulatory guidelines and specialist audience presentations. Stronger visual hierarchy, more consistent brand application, and easier explanation of complex insurance concepts. The high-value company profile and supporting value proposition material were developed to help MCD present their business, purpose, portfolio, partners, services and client journey in a structured, visually engaging way — positioning MCD as a specialist brokerage with clear offerings, trusted partnerships and deep market understanding.
A redesigned website as the digital home.
MCD's website was redesigned to create a more centralised, professional, user-friendly platform. The work covered core pages, FAQ development, updated partner and product content, improved document linking, SSL activation, theme implementation and SEO-focused image optimisation. The result is a stronger digital home for MCD's services — easier access to key information, refreshed about and services content, an improved contact experience and better-organised resources for clients and partners.
18 compliance documents plus 25 template groups.
Beyond public-facing work, Mediakim built MCD's operational communication system: 18 operational and compliance documentation outputs covering cover confirmations, advice records, needs analysis, renewal communication, acceptance forms, proposal support, payment reminders and compliance documentation. A full communication template system was created with 25 email and WhatsApp template groups for claims communication, renewal notices, policy explanations, quote requests, advice records, referral thank-you messages, cover introductions, out-of-office messaging and general client support. Compliance material became more organised and reusable; recurring communication became faster and more consistent.
